Commodore Users Group of Ireland
IE-Amiga-Users mailing list
CUGI runs a mailing list for Amiga users in Ireland, which currently
(Wed, 7 Jan 1998) has exactly 51 people subscribed to it. This list
is kindly hosted by EUnet Ireland.
Rationale behind the list
There are a
large number of Amiga users in Ireland with electronic mail, but until now,
there has been no way for these users to participate in group discussions
relating to the Amiga computer.
Many Amiga BBS users have moved from Fidonet to the Internet and have found
that while the Internet offers them a wealth of discussion groups and file
archives, it is simply too large to cater for a local community of computer
users. This list aims to help solve that problem.
We encourage you to post any items to the list which you think may be of
interest to other Amiga users in Ireland.
